Coating equipment for digital printing – Mod. BSR/DIG

The coating equipment for fabric pre-treatment for digital printing, consists of doctor-blade coating on a fabric to increase the printing quality digitally done.

Coating takes place directly at the inlet of the printing line. The fabric is then pre-dried and fed onto the adhesively coated conveyor belt of a digital printing line.

The system is equipped with an advanced tension control system in order to compensate for the continuous coating feed even in case of discontinuous belt feed.
Digital pre-press treatment offers important advantages for the printer such as:

• energy, logistical and process savings from not having to pre-treat in a stenter frame oven
• increased print quality on fabrics
